Job summary

JENNMAR Services, a Cleveland-based industrial construction and maintenance contractor, is seeking Millwrights, Welders and Fabricators for a project with potential for travel. These are full-time roles with competitive pay and benefits; travel per diem is provided where applicable.

You must be able to travel weekly and work overtime as needed. You will follow supervisor instructions, perform welding and fabrication tasks, read schematics, and support skilled trades on site to keep equipment

Qualifications

• Experience as Millwright/Welder/Fabricator with ability to read schematics.
• Willingness to travel weekly to various locations and work overtime if required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass background and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Follow supervisor and foreman instructions while maintaining safety standards.
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and projects.
• Read schematics and manuals to perform equipment repairs.
• Move, install, and secure materials and tools at job sites.

• THESE POSITIONS ARE FULL TIME POSITIONS WITH COMPETITIVE PAY, BENEFITS AND LOCAL POSITIONS WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR TRAVEL (PER DIEM GIVEN FOR TRAVEL)

Job Responsibilities for Experienced Millwrights, Welders, Fabricators:

• Follow instructions from supervisors and/or crew foremen while maintaining all safety standards
• Perform various physical duties assigned
• Move, secure, install, build, load and/or unload materials, tools and equipment
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and various projects
• Properly repair and install mechanical parts for equipment
• Read schematics and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs if needed
• Stick Weld and use Oxy/Act torches safely and efficiently
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Clean/prepare job site
• Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties

Job Requirements Experienced Millwrights, Welders, Fabricators:

• Must be 18 or older
• Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders and/or platforms, bend and squat
• Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Able to work any shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays required.
• Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing required.
• MSHA Surface, SAFELAND PEC, and OSHA certifications a plus
