Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services seeks an Off-Shift Electrician for a client in Muskegon, MI. This position offers a 3rd shift in a safety-focused manufacturing environment with stability and growth opportunities.

You will perform electrical maintenance, read and follow work instructions, inspect plant equipment, and install or repair components. Bring your own hand tools and be prepared to obtain forklift/man-lift licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow all job related work instructions.
• Observe and follow safety procedures to prevent injury.
• Daily inspections of plant machinery and components; repair and align as needed.
• Rebuild equipment and install new components.
• Fabricate from wood or steel per drawings.
• Welding and torch cutting as needed.
• Provide own hand tools.
• Repair yard cranes (except electrical).
• Complete rigging tasks.
• Basic computer data entry for work orders.

Shift and Compensation

3rd Shift

Pay : $38.55/ hour

Job Duties

• Adhere to IATF16949 work instructions
• Adhere to ISO14001 work instructions and training
• Read and follow all job related work instructions.
• Observe & follow all safety procedures and guidelines when performing work to avoid injury to self and other employees.
• Daily inspections of plant and machinery specifically bearings, gear reducers, belts, couplings, and alignment and repair of same including completion of daily check list
• Rebuild equipment as needed
• Maintain shot blasts and associated equipment (Dust Collectors etc.)
• Make necessary building repairs
• Install new equipment as needed
• Fabricate from wood or steel any new or replacement equipment from design drawings or instruction
• Ability to weld and do layout work as well as torch cutting
• Provide own tools (personal hand tools)
• Repair yard cranes (except electrical)
• Must have ability to complete rigging tasks
• Must have basic computer skills for work order entry and completion
• Must be able to obtain a forklift and/or man-lift licenses from safety department

Background Profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Candidate must have at a minimum a Journeyman Card or 6 years of practical Maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility
