Turner Industries Group seeks an experienced Millwright for a maintenance role in Port Allen, LA. The position involves reading blueprints and schematics, dismantling and reassembling machinery, and installing equipment according to detailed instructions in industrial settings.

Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–4 years of relevant experience, and potential NCCER certification.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent is required.
• 1–4 years of experience in the specified skill depending on mechanic level.
• Some sites may require NCCER certification.
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of policy.
• Must comply with company and client safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety in the workplace.

Responsabilités

• Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Dismantles machines and moves machinery/equipment.
• Assembles and installs equipment (shafting, conveyors, pumps, compressors, extruders, turbines, blowers).
• Aligns machines/equipment using reverse alignment methods.
• Operates equipment and performs repairs and lubrication as needed.
• May perform grouting for equipment base plates and other tasks per supervisor.
