Job summary

Trillium Construction is seeking Millwright Helpers for near Roanoke Rapids, NC. The role involves cutting out damaged material, removing debris, grinding tube ends and tubesheets, and installing new components.

Candidates should be comfortable in confined spaces, prepared for respirator use, and capable of heavy material handling.

Qualifications

• Recent shutdown/outage experience (millwright, rigger, or industrial labor).
• Comfortable in confined space (18–24” manways, no tube crawling).
• Respirator ready (must shave if required and pass fit test).
• Reliable, strong work ethic.
• Valid ID + ability to complete paid safety training.

Responsibilities

• Cut out damaged material and prepare work area.
• Manually remove material and transport to metal dumpster.
• Grind and prepare tube ends and tubesheets.
• Install new material as required.
• Operate hydraulic pumps and specialized tooling.
• Perform substantial material handling.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Support team to meet schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Cutting out damaged material
• Manually removing material from the work area and taking it to the metal dumpster
• Grinding and preparing tube ends
• Grinding/preparing tubesheets
• Installing new material
• Using hydraulic pumps and specialized tooling
• Performing substantial material handling
• Cleanup

Pay: $28
- Overtime after 8h a day, overtime on Saturdays, double time on Sundays.
- Travel Pay: Full paid day on inbound travel if within 8h. 8h paid travel time on return home.
- Training pay and catered meals onsite.
Per Diem: $125 / day for all 7 days.
Schedule: Mon - Sun, 70h+ / week
