Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Millwright to perform maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds, ensuring facilities run smoothly in our operations. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and efficient use of tools.

The ideal candidate has a Journeyman's Card or 8 years of hands-on experience, with welding and fabrication skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. This position offers opportunities for growth within a large, global company.

Qualifications

• 8 years experience or a Journeyman's Card.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Must have strong welding and fabrication skills, with the ability to use a variety of fabrication tools; such as cutting torch, grinders and plasma cutter.
• Must have the ability to disassemble, repair, and reassemble a variety of equipment.
• Must have strong troubleshooting skills.
• Preffered experience in maintenance/repair of Overhead doors, Truck Well Dock Levelers/Locks, Air Handling Units, Overhead Heaters, belt replacement/sheaves. Aerial Lift, basic knoweldge of preventative maintenance,

• Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.
• Adheres to Aramark & Gneral Motors safety policies and procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair broken components to reduce failures.
