A well‑established machining and repair organization is seeking a skilled Millwright to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment. This is a hands‑on role suited for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, alignment experience, and the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment in both shop and field environments.

Job Details
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment
- Perform precision alignment of motors, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating equipment (laser and dial indicator methods)
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including bearings, shafts, conveyors, and hydraulic components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability
- Support machining and fabrication teams as needed
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards
- Travel to customer sites for field service work as required
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Millwright or in industrial maintenance/mechanical repair
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and alignment techniques
- Experience with rigging, lifting, and equipment installation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in machining environments or repair shops
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- OSHA safety training or certifications
