Job summary

Didion Milling, Inc. in Cambria, WI is seeking a hands-on Millwright to diagnose, repair, and optimize industrial equipment for food-grade ingredients, ethanol, and corn-based products. Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, with compensation of $28–$32 per hour.

You will perform preventive maintenance, welding, fabrication, and assist with equipment installation while supporting safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance, millwright, or construction experience.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely in an industrial environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild industrial equipment.
• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication work.
• Replace belts, bearings, and mechanical components.
• Support maintenance and construction projects across the facility.
• Operate tools, testing equipment, and industrial vehicles safely.
• Assist with equipment installation, alignment, and movement.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, productivity, and efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with Maintenance, Construction, and Production teams.
• Grow toward a Millwright Lead role.

Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical challenges, and keeping operations running at peak performance? Didion is looking for a Millwright to join our team and play a critical role in supporting the production of food-grade ingredients, ethanol, and other corn-based products.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild industrial equipment

What We're Looking For

Physical & Work Environment

• Work in an environment that may include dust, noise, heat, and cold
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequently climb stairs and ladders
• Work at heights and in confined spaces when required
• Ability to use required safety equipment and communicate via two-way radio
