Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking a Distribution Inside Sales Supervisor in Greenville, NC to oversee Inside Sales Representatives and coordinate with Outside Sales and customers. This role requires strong sales acumen and leadership to drive customer-focused results.

You will provide product knowledge, quotes, and follow-up on leads while maintaining relationships and preparing daily transaction reports in a fast-paced branch environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 2-4 years of experience is required.
• Strong customer-centric focus and communication skills.
• Experience in a sales-driven environment is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide product knowledge and price quotes to convert inquiries into sales orders.
• Follow up on sales leads generated by branch’s General Manager and Sales Manager(s).
• Build and maintain customer relationships through sales activities created by the branch.
• Monitor technical and business objections for prospective customers.
• Investigate and resolve customer problems to maintain positive customer relationships.
• Communicate quotes, product shortages, and quality issues with buyers.
• Prepare daily reports of business transactions.
• Responsible for timely and effective performance management and conflict resolution efforts for the Inside Sales Team.
• Other duties as described by manager.
