Dandy is seeking a Milling/Singulation Technician in Provo, Utah to join a fast-growing, digital-first dental lab. You will operate milling and nesting software to produce high-quality restorations and help scale a Gold Standard Milling Department.

Ideal candidates have 0–2+ years in a fast-paced setting, strong English, keen attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. You’ll troubleshoot workflows, uphold strict quality standards, and work with a tight-knit team to meet deadlines.

About the Role

The Milling/Singulation Technician will operate as part of a team of 5+ milling technicians in a state-of-the-art and digital-only facility in Provo, Utah. Our Milling Technicians operate advanced milling and nesting software to produce top-tier dental restorations. This role is ideal for someone tech-savvy with a commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards. Compensation

$16-18 per hour

What You'll Do

• Operate Quickly: Directly operate our milling nesting software(s) to orient and properly support dental products (e.g., crown, bridge, abutment) in a fast-paced environment
• Drive Improvements: Serve as the go-to individual with firsthand insights on workflow, equipment, and capacity improvement opportunities to help drive high quality products
• Problem Solve: Roll up your sleeves to quickly troubleshoot and solve process, equipment and/or technology issues as you operate within a large scale and fast paced dental lab
• Quality Adherence: Uphold strict manufacturing quality standards (e.g., nesting operating procedures) and lead by example. High quality is key to efficient scalability!
• Collaborate: Work with other team members to identify and quickly address bottlenecks

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 0-2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Passion for tackling problems and breaking them down into smaller manageable steps
• High level of comfort with digital tools and technology
• Very high attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team player attitude and willingness to help others to help the team exceed expectations
• Natural curiosity and ability to learn new concepts, tools, and workflows quickly
• Strong self-motivation, self-direction, and ability to prioritize
• Excellent communication and listening skills

Bonus Points For

• Worked in a dental lab, specifically in a milling and/or nesting department
• Deep knowledge with different nesting softwares, specifically hyperDent
• Part of a nesting / milling department with 20+ mills before
• Worked with Arum mills before (e.g., 5X-500, 5X-500L, 5X-200)
• Nested / milled both generic and authentic custom titanium abutments in-house
• Outstanding professional references to share

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing between 25-50 lbs for durations ranging from 15 minutes to 2 hours per day. Frequent reaching above 5'5" is necessary, including lifting up to 10 lbs at this height. Additionally, the position involves occasional bending over for similar time frames. Candidates should be comfortable performing these physical tasks as part of their daily responsibilities.
