Job summary

Miller Pipeline is hiring a DryVac Operator to support repair, maintenance, construction, installation and reconditioning of distribution pipelines. This role requires performing DryVac-excavation safely and following DOT regulations, with daily vehicle pre-trips and area travel as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Class A CDL and at least one year of DryVac experience, with a mechanical mindset, willingness to work outdoors, and a current DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• 1+ year of DryVac experience.
• Mechanical knowledge is required.
• Must be willing to work outside in the elements.
• High level of personal integrity and accountability.
• Current DOT Medical Card, or ability to obtain one.
• Must pass computer-based testing for local operator qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Safely spot utilities by use of DryVac-excavation.
• Complete pre-trip on the vehicle at the beginning and end of each day.
• Follow DOT regulations and weight restriction laws.
• Travel within the area as needed.
