Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience operating 7 Axis CNC Machines with multiple spindles and the Capto C-6 Interface.
• Must read and interpret blueprints/drawings with high accuracy.
• Ability to perform setups on multiple machines and coordinate with team members.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Validate correct material is loaded per the work order traveler
• Ensure part is loaded with correct grain direction
• Secure part within the holding fixture
• Ensure programmed dimensions are loaded correctly into the machine
• Monitor first part run at each operation and obtain approval by inspection
• Deburr parts as needed
• Complete necessary paperwork and clocking within ERP system

Job description

Omni Aerospace is seeking an experienced Mill Turn CNC Machine Operator. Omni Aerospace is a precision manufacturer of Mechanical, Electrical and Electro-Mechanical Components and systems. Mill Turn CNC Machine Operator will perform duties to set up and operate multiple 7-axis computerized numerical controlled machine tools to perform a wide range of turning, drilling and tapping operations on various complex component parts of mechanical shaft seals in a work cell environment in a production mode.

The compensation for this role ranges from $19.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with eligibility for a quarterly bonus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Validate correct material is loaded per the work order traveler
• Ensure part is load with correct grain direction
• Secure part within the holding fixture
• Ensure the programmed dimensions are loaded into the machine correctly
• Monitor 1st part run at every operation and obtain first part buy off by inspection
• Deburr parts as needed
• Ability to complete necessary paperwork and clocking within ERP system

Requirements

• Minimum Five years’ experience operating 7 Axis CNC Machines with multiple spindles and the Capto C-6 Interface
• Experience with Fanuc or Celos controllers
• Must be able to do your own setups
• Be able to read and understand design blueprints/drawings
• Must be able to operate more than one machine at a time
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to use precision measuring instruments to verify the accuracy of your own parts
• Must be able to identify correct cutters for each job
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment Drug Screening and Background Check.
