Job summary

Didion Milling, Inc. seeks a Mill Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement across operations. The role emphasizes food safety, product quality, audits, and effective corrective actions in a collaborative environment.

You will partner with Operations, R&D, Sales, and Human Development to strengthen cross-functional processes, implement sustainable solutions, and develop team capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Milling Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in food manufacturing quality, food safety, or related function.
• HACCP certification and PCQI certified.
• Experience supporting GFSI-recognized food safety programs (FSSC 22000, SQF, or BRC).
• Experience leading investigations, corrective actions, and CI initiatives.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality systems, and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mill Quality Management System (QMS) and promote a culture of food safety and quality excellence.
• Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Support HACCP and preventative control programs as part of the Food Safety Team.
• Lead investigations into quality incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with Operations and other departments to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to drive visibility and accountability.
