Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in the United States seeks an entry-level team member to support safe production by operating and maintaining concentrator equipment, conducting inspections, and assisting with maintenance in a 24/7 mining environment.

Candidates should have at least three months of work experience, basic English communication, and knowledge of milling, crushing and conveying equipment. Competitive benefits and a starting pay of $21–$27 per hour are offered.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months work experience.
• Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, procedures and safety standards.
• Knowledge of milling, crushing and conveying equipment and their operating parameters.

Responsibilities

• Make guided decisions to support safe production.
• Maintain and operate concentrator equipment.
• Perform detailed inspections of operating equipment and areas.
• Assist with maintenance activities.
• Complete area housekeeping duties.
• Learn basic metallurgical milling principles.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
