Job summary

The Doe Run Company in Ellington, MO is seeking a Mill Operator I to learn to safely and effectively assist in mill operations that produce all finished concentrates. This rotating shift position will be located at Sweetwater Mill in Ellington, MO.

The work location may change within the Viburnum Trend to support production needs. Benefits include $21.28/hour, 5% targeted monthly bonus, insurance from day 1, 80 hours vacation after 90 days, and on-the-job training with career growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• No experience required; some industrial experience preferred.
• Experience operating skid steer loaders, forklifts, and larger loaders preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist mill operators with mixing mill reagents.
• Maintain and clean work area; end-of-shift housekeeping tasks.
• Assist the mill operators II and III in processing finished concentrate products.
• Operate wheel loaders to load ore into the process and load concentrate trucks.
• Follow EHS policies; report unsafe acts or conditions; support safety improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
