Job summary

INX International Ink Co. seeks a Mill Operator to manufacture high-quality printing ink. You will be trained to operate a mill and TPM activities, handling batches, packaging, and QC coordination in a safety-conscious facility.

You will learn to optimize OEE, maintain formulas database, and support canning, pressing, filtering, and forklift tasks while contributing to a sustainable color future.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3 months of related work experience.
• Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills.
• Pay attention to detail.
• Be reliable to work assigned shift.
• Be flexible to work overtime as required.
• Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
• Be able to perform in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Have good attendance and punctuality.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Mixing, mill, and pump filter background preferred.
• Previous ink industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run batches of ink at proper mill settings.
• Package finished product in various containers and apply labels.
• Clean and maintain machines to TPM standards.
• Learn and apply TPM knowledge to daily activities.
• Operate Hockmeyer mill and maintain optimum OEE standards.
• Create and maintain a database of all formulas including processing times.
• Canning operations.
• Operate press-out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift.
• Act as a QC liaison, provide ink samples, adjust ink, and record data.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and use troubleshooting procedures.
• Assist with repacks.
