Job summary

Jurgensen Companies in Ohio is seeking a Mill Technician to maintain the safe, efficient operation of our aggregate mill. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, operating heavy equipment, and supporting production activities in a demanding industrial setting.

The ideal candidate is punctual, safety-conscious, and self-motivated, able to handle multiple tasks in varying conditions, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. A driver’s license and ability to work outdoors are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mill equipment and systems.
• Safely load bulk tank trucks and document materials.
• Operate machinery and heavy equipment, including skid steers and mobile equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to complete repairs and fabrication tasks.
• Assist with facility upkeep and working at elevated heights.
• Work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free work environment.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth operations.

This position includes performing maintenance, operating equipment, loading bulk trucks, and supporting daily production activities.
