Job Description

We are seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a mill machine and on TPM activities. As aMill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for:

  • Runningbatches of ink at proper mill settings
  • Packagingfinished product in various containers and applying labels
  • Cleaning and maintaining machines to TPM Standards
  • Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities
  • Weigh-Up Batches: Following proper process order of addition.Shifting between auto and manual steps
  • Mix Batch:Dischargingpigment and operatingmixer safely; following and adheringto all INX Mixer SOP's
  • Hockmeyer mill operation:Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipmenteffectiveness) standards
  • Creatingand maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times
  • Canning
  • Operatingthe following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift
  • Acting as a QC liaison, providingink samples, makingink adjustments, and recording data
  • Completingscheduled maintenanceand utilizing troubleshooting procedures.
  • Helping with repacks
Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Have 3 months of related work experience
  • Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Be reliableto work assigned shift
  • Be flexible to work overtime as required
  • Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background
  • Be able to perform an active role with any multi-disciplinary teams
  • Have good attendanceand punctuality
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:

  • Forklift experience, but we can train you
  • Mixing, mill, and pump filter industry background
  • Previous experience in the ink industry
