Job summary

Friona Industries in Texas hires Mill Maintenance staff to support daily mill operations, housekeeping, and preventive upkeep of equipment. The role requires hands-on mechanical work, basic electrical systems understanding, and safe operation of heavy machinery.

You will work Monday–Friday with 55-hour weeks and alternate weekends, reporting to the Mill Department and helping maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize mill maintenance by visually inspecting machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance using computerized work systems.
• Assist during absences and as needed.
• Participate in daily housekeeping and organize work areas.
• Comply with OSHA, FDA, and EPA regulations and safety rules.
• Acknowledge management's right to reassign duties as needed.

Job description

Mill maintenance will assist in various mill operations included but not limited to: housekeeping, maintenance and repair.Monday-Friday 4:30AM to 5:00 PM, will be based on a 55-hour work week. Alternating weekends.

Mill Department

• Identifies and prioritizes mill maintenance by visually inspection machinery for proper functioning
• Performs preventative maintenance by utilizing computerized work system and carrying out maintenance task
• Works in carious capacities when another employee is absent or as necessary
• Participates in daily housekeeping, including cleaning and organizing mill work areas
• Complies with applicable OSHA, FDA, and EPA regulations
• Complies with applicable safety rules and policies
