Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Loader to off-load, inspect parts, and place them in racks to sustain mill operation. 1st shift, Mon-Thu, 4:00am–2:30pm; overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include safety, quality checks, 5S housekeeping, changeovers, TPM, coordinating with the supervisor, and supporting maintenance to resolve issues, aiming for production efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Education: High school or equivalent.
• Experience with measuring devices and reading part drawings.
• Roll tooling experience with setups and changeovers.
• Ability to meet negotiated time frames.
• Forklift experience.
• Good communication and teamwork with coworkers for continuous mill flow.
• Ability to adapt to schedule changes and be a contributing team member.

Responsibilities

• Safety, quality, priorities above all.
• Keep the mill operational.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area (5S).
• Assist in the change over processes of the mill.
• TPM of process and equipment in the area.
• Coordinate daily and weekly activities with department supervisor.
• Perform visual quality checks for straightness, galv integrity, length to quality requirements.
• Work with maintenance hands-on to resolve issues promptly.
• Focus on mill production efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
