Lignetics, Inc. in JAFFREY, New Hampshire, is seeking a Mill Equipment Operator for day and night shifts. The role reports to the Shift lead and involves operating bagging, mill, dryer, loader, and forklift equipment, with strict safety and documentation standards.

Two shift options (day 5am–5pm, night 5pm–5am) with 12-hour days, base pay of $21/hr plus eligible monthly bonus up to $2.86/hr and a $2.00/hr night shift differential. Pre-employment checks apply.

Job Description:

The Mill Operator operates all functions related to operational plant activities. With team members, this role reports directly to the Shift lead and serves as primary plant operator. Candidate must be adept at anticipating needs, taking initiative, problem solving.

Responsibilities:

• Run Bagging Machine
• Mill Operation
• Dryer Operation
• Loader Operation for yard mixing of material and filling of Green Bin
• Skid steer operation for unloading of KD material from box trucks
• Operation of Fork Truck, single and dual
• Loading and unloading of trucks with finish goods
• Stacking of finish goods in warehouse and outside.
• Participate in the plant safety meetings
• Raw Materials and Daily Reports of quality samples
• Receiving incoming raw materials with detail-oriented documentation.
• Shipping and Receiving
• Signing trucks in and out of the plant for shipping of finish goods and bulk loads
• Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications/Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to immediately understand and react to verbal safety commands, audio alarms, and written hazard alerts in English in a Manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in English to accurately read, interpret, and execute equipment lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) protocols and machine operation manuals.
• Sufficient English verbal skills to clearly and instantly report machine malfunctions, near-misses, or unsafe floor conditions to supervisors and team members.
• This role operates in the immediate vicinity of fast-moving, heavy automated equipment. Clear, real-time communication and strict adherence to English-language safety signage are mandatory for workplace safety.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a teamwork.
• Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure and multi-task
• Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.
