Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Electrical or Instrumentation Journeyman certification required.
• 3–7 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance in mining, milling, or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and industrial power distribution.
• Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred), HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, loop diagrams, and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and program control systems, including MCCs, VFDs, instruments, PID loops, sensors, I-to-P’s, digital or analog output devices and auto-valves.
• Maintain and calibrate process instrumentation such as flow, pressure, level, temperature, and analytical devices.
• Troubleshoot and support control systems including DCS, PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation failures to minimize equipment downtime.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks in alignment with maintenance plans.
• Document work activities accurately in CMMS (JDE or similar).
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to improve system reliability and performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, reliability enhancements, and cost reductions.
