Job summary

Shehadey Family Foods, Inc. in Fresno, CA seeks an experienced receiving supervisor to manage plant receiving logs, verify tankers meet standards, and maintain safety and GMP compliance in the receiving area. You will ensure paperwork accuracy, cleanliness, and proper sanitation of lines and tankers.

The role requires a minimum 3 years in transport/coordinating within manufacturing/food processing, plus a licenses and strong leadership. Competitive hourly pay and full-time employment are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Weighers and Samplers license and valid Class C driver’s license required.
• At least 3 years transport/coordinating experience in manufacturing/food processing.
• Team player with coaching/training and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lead, gain trust and influence all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plant receiving log and paperwork.
• Ensures all milk tankers meet Producers Dairy, state and federal standards by performing an antibiotic test on each tanker.
• Checks paperwork and wash tags of incoming tankers.
• Keeps receiving area clean at all times.
• Properly flushes raw receiving line, using the inline “pig” at the end of each receiving day or as necessary.
• Follows GMP’s and insures that all in the receiving area follow GMP’s.
• Changes tanker filters on a daily basis.
• Covers all electrical panels when cleaning around them.
• When working with chemicals, wears appropriate safety equipment.
• Keeps hand wash station clean at all times and supplied with soap and paper towels.
• Reports any equipment or other problems to a supervisor and uses maintenance work orders as needed.
• Properly cleans tankers raw line #2 and raw milk silos. Washes tanks prior to 72 hour rules.
• Records cleaning and sanitizer concentrations in Master Sanitation Log.
• When receiving OJ concentrate, verifies that produce meets specifications by checking brix.
• Changes all air blow filters in Receiving Room.
• Ensures all recording charts are installed in a timely manner and correctly filled out.
• Maintains professional and appropriate dress, hygiene and personal appearance.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must possess a Weighers and Samplers license and valid Class C driver’s license
• A minimum of 3 years transport/coordinating experience, preferably in manufacturing/food processing environment with a transportation division
• Must be a team player, must enjoy coaching/training and troubleshooting
• Ability to lead, gain trust and influence all levels of the organization
