Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field.
• Experience in healthcare settings with recreational therapy.
• Experience with military/veteran populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' recreational interests and needs to tailor therapy.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group activities.
• Provide activities that promote resiliency, coping, and social skills.
• Offer yoga-based activities when clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and document progress.
• Maintain boundaries and trauma-informed, professional care.
• Assist in developing programming for Patriot Support population.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation
