Job summary

Matrix Providers Inc. is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to support Navy medical services at the Naval Health Clinic Quantico in Quantico, VA. This full-time position offers an hourly wage with benefits and a schedule Monday through Friday.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene, CODA-accredited, and a valid state license with anesthesia privileges where allowed. Experience requirement is 12 months within 36 months post-graduation.

Qualifications

Degree in dental hygiene with CODA accreditation is required.
Minimum 12 months of specialized full-time clinical experience as an RDH within 36 months after graduation.
Current state license to practice dental hygiene, with ability to administer local anesthesia where permitted.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive oral health and dental hygiene treatment to diverse patient groups to support DTF beneficiary dental readiness.
Formulate and document dental hygiene diagnoses and treatment plans with DTF Dental Clinic staff.
Examine the oral cavity and record conditions, referring abnormalities to the dentist.
Perform adult prophylaxis, supragingival/subgingival scaling, polishing, and sealants.
Provide topical fluoride applications and desensitizing agents.
Maintain medical/dental records according to DTF clinic procedures.
Assist DTF Periodontists with complex cases as required.
