Magellan Health is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor to provide comprehensive financial counseling to service members and families at military installations, including one-on-one sessions, briefings, and referrals, ensuring DoD program compliance.

The role supports budgeting for extended deployments, develops educational materials, and delivers a range of classes/workshops across the military lifecycle, with virtual options and coordination with installation Points of Contact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizen and fluent English.
• If required, bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Able to obtain a favorable Tier 2 investigation and OCI disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling to service members and families.
• Conduct one-on-one counseling, briefings and group workshops.
• Develop and share educational financial materials.
• Coordinate with installation Points of Contact and use virtual counseling when needed.
• Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes and participate in supervision.
