Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Associate degree +4 years experience may substitute for bachelor's.
• High school diploma +6 years experience may substitute for bachelor's.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent English.
• If required, bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
• Must pass the OCI disclosures process.
• Certifications: AFC, CFP, or ChFC.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families.
• Assist with spending plans for extended absences.
• Develop and provide informational financial materials.
• Coordinate and provide PFM classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
• Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.
• Utilize virtual counseling and secure electronic communications as needed.
• Manage duty to warn per DoD protocol.
• Communicate with leadership and participate in supervision and program activities.
• Participate in in-services and quality improvement activities.
