Job summary

American Academy of Family Physicians seeks a Pediatric physician to serve at Fort Drum, providing comprehensive primary care to newborns, infants, children and adolescents. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, perform exams, and ensure HIPAA-compliant recordkeeping, under DoD guidelines.

Qualifications include US citizenship, MD or DO with pediatric residency, and licensure to practice in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Basic Requirement for Pediatric Physician: MD/DO degree from US/Canada accredited school; valid license to practice in a US state.
• Residency training in Pediatrics: completed accredited pediatrics residency (4 years) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Examination, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
• Provide first-contact, continuous primary care per standards and patient-centered medical home model.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team ensuring ongoing care and proper documentation of all medical services.
