Job summary

Matrix Providers Inc. is hiring a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team delivering care to military service members and families at the OB/GYN Clinic and Labor & Delivery Unit, Naval Hospital Jacksonville; and/or NBHC Mayport, FL.

The HCW will provide obstetric and gynecologic care, participate in watch-standing, and may act as a preceptor. Requirements include a Master's in nursing, ACNM certification, NRP, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and an unrestricted CNM license.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing.
• Graduate from ACNM-accredited nurse midwife program.
• Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board; NRP certification.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• At least 1 year of recent nurse-midwife outpatient experience.
• Unrestricted CNM license in the US territories.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to women from menarche through menopause (prenatal, postpartum, well-woman gynecology, family planning).
• Manage obstetric outpatient care at NBHC Mayport and watch-standing in Labor and Delivery.
• Act as preceptor/clinical instructor for residents, trainees and students.
• Prescribe medications within privileges and maintain patient records.
• Collaborate with OB/GYNs for consultation, care planning and referrals.
