Job summary

Parsons, a Federal Solutions partner, is seeking an Exercise Planner to support USARPAC. The role focuses on designing and executing Joint/Multinational exercises from concept to CONOP briefs and applying MDMP, ADM, and JPP processes.

You will manage budgets, use JTIMS/ARTIMS, and collaborate with seasoned professionals on mission-critical events, with travel up to 20% and an active Secret clearance required.

• Graduate of a Command and General Staff College
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to convey complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner

Job Description

Are you ready for a challenge that will keep you on the edge in the field of military operations and planning? Are you an Exercise Planner with experience developing an exercise from conceptualization to CONOP brief? Imagine yourself working on top-level, critical mission sets alongside other seasoned professionals. Parsons is now hiring an Exercise Planner with a passion for innovation and solving mission critical challenges to support our US Army Pacific (USARPAC) customer.

Specific Responsibilities

• Strong familiarity of Joint and Multinational exercise design at the operational level
• Ability to take an exercise from the concept phase, plan the exercise, and prepare and provide a senior-level concept of operation brief
• Demonstrate aptitude to apply the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) stages to exercise requirements
• Be fully versed in the application of Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), Army Design Methodology (ADM), and Joint Planning Process (JPP)
• Proficient in the management of Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) and Army Training Information Management System (ARTIMS)
• Experience supporting and managing an exercise budget with multiple funding streams
• Working knowledge of the aspects of Multi-Domain Operations
• Valid U.S. Passport; ability to travel up to 20% of the time
• Active Secret Clearance

Required Education/Experience

• 9+ years relevant experience; 3+ years relevant experience with a Bachelors
• Graduate of a Command and General Staff College
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to convey complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of experience planning and executing a Component or Joint Exercise Program
• 8+ years of experience at the brigade level or above
• Previous experience supporting an INDOPACOM or US Army customer

Security Clearance Requirement

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
