Responsibilities

• Examine oral cavity and record conditions; refer abnormalities to dentist.
• Perform advanced prophylaxis and preventive procedures under dentist supervision.
• Administer local anesthesia where licensed and credentialed.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and demonstrate techniques.
• Take impressions for study models and fabricate mouth guards.
• Maintain instruments and sterilize equipment.
• Create and follow treatment plans based on patient needs.
