Job summary

US Got People (USGP) seeks a Certified Addictions Counselor to provide high-quality counseling to military members, veterans, and families at Camp Lejeune. The role includes full clinical responsibilities, immunization compliance, and coordinating with treatment teams.

The position offers competitive pay at $30/hour plus a Health & Welfare stipend, with a Monday–Friday schedule and up to 80 hours per pay period, serving a federal facility setting.

Qualifications

Associate of Arts degree in behavioral science with specialized training in substance use treatment.
Program management activity school for alcohol and drug counseling.
BLS certification required.
Current, full, active CAC license.

Responsibilities

Deliver a full range of addiction counseling services per professional standards.
Gather and provide information for treatment planning and program development.
Conduct comprehensive substance use and addiction assessments.
Identify medical and psychological consequences of substance use, including withdrawal and detoxification.
Facilitate placement and management of patients within continuum of care.
