Milieu Specialist
Full-Time / Non-Exempt
7:00pm to 7:30am - Rotating schedule, two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, with every other weekend off

$20.00/hour
The Milieu Specialist position functions as a leader in providing de-escalation and support strategies to prevent the use of seclusion and restraint. The Milieu Specialist position also provides effective emergency response in the event of imminent danger in order to maintain safety and security.

A Direct Service Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.
May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.
Must be 21 years or older.
Required to attend court hearings when listed as a witness on a petition.
Must be 24 years or older.
Additional specified state registration for Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC).
