How you’ll serve our patients: A Day in The Life

As a Program Therapist - Youtube, at ERC Pathlight, you can expect to be part of a team that delivers hands-on treatment, group therapy sessions, and support to our patients across various centers nationwide. Our Program Therapists facilitate therapeutic groups based on core curriculum, offer milieu support, de-escalation, and behavior coaching in IP/Res and PHP programs. This role is a great opportunity to build on your education in a therapist-in-training capacity.

You will serve patients daily in various ways:

Facilitate curriculum-based therapeutic groups
Cross-train across levels of care within your program
Milieu Management

Milieu Management includes:

De-escalation and crisis management
Bathroom monitoring/flush checks
Behavior coaching
Self-harm and suicide safety checks
Supporting morning routines in IP/Res programs
Collecting weights, vitals, and urine in some settings
Documentation of groups, meals, patient check-ins, and observations

Milieu Coordinator Must Haves

Bachelor's degree required
6 months of behavioral health experience required
Understanding of de-escalation techniques and ACT/DBT skills training
Knowledge and application of Trauma-Informed Care

Milieu Coordinator II Must Haves

Bachelor's Degree required
Master's degree preferred (in Mental Health or related field)
Clinical associate/intern license strongly preferred
18+ months behavioral health experience required (waived with relevant Master's Degree)
1+ year experience in group curriculum, facilitation, and therapeutic milieu skills preferred
Understanding of de-escalation techniques and ACT/DBT skills training
Knowledge and application of Trauma-Informed Care
Demonstrates understanding of stress reactions in clients behaviorally and psychologically/emotionally
