Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) to join our employed physician group. The practice covers all aspects of pelvic health, including pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, and minimally invasive surgery.

No obstetrics duties are required. The selected candidate will join Summa Health Medical Group, a large multi-specialty group with about 700 providers.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education.
• Commitment to evidence-based, standardized care in a patient-centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform minimally invasive gynecologic surgery as MIGS surgeon.
• Contribute to pelvic medicine services (pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease).
• Collaborate in a multi-specialty group with 24/7 anesthesia, radiology, and subspecialty coverage.
• Engage in education of students and residents and participate in interdisciplinary rounds.
