Join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) World Wide Public Sector (WWPS) Migration team working with US SLG/EDU Customers and Partners who are migrating and modernizing workloads to AWS.
In this role ,you will be driving customer and partner engagement for migrating and modernizing existing workloads to AWS, including helping customers unlock new capabilities through 1-Step AI Modernization. You will have an exciting opportunity to shape engagements with US SLG/EDU organizations through the delivery of the Migration Acceleration Program and by leveraging other programs. You will be responsible for engaging customers and partners while working with AWS field teams to develop large cloud migration and modernization engagements, including AI modernization use cases that unlock new capabilities and accelerate innovation on AWS. You must be effective at working with customers to articulate the business opportunity for migration and modernization, navigate tooling and methodologies that reduce risk, and accelerate customer outcomes. You will identify use cases, patterns, and best practices across engagements to inform and develop go-to-market motions that scale migrations with partners and field teams. You should be comfortable working with cross-functional global teams in dynamic organizations, as the program will have interdependencies with other teams within AWS, including sales, business development, solutions architecture, partner sales, professional services, compliance, product, sales operations, and other related teams.
The ideal candidate will bring both technical delivery and business development skills to this position. They will have experience working with government and/or enterprise customers on large-scale cloud migration and modernization projects. As AI workloads and agentic technology become increasingly part of engagement scope and delivery, the candidate should bring awareness of how these workloads fit within migration and modernization strategies and demonstrate a clear commitment to building that expertise. The ideal candidate will draw upon exemplary technical and program management skills, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for creating reliable and maintainable solutions on AWS. The candidate should be open to new challenges, effective at multi-tasking, innovative, creative, self-directed, and a strong team player. Candidates should drive continuous process improvement and collaborate effectively with cross-functional business and software development teams to solve problems and implement new solutions. The Migration Technical Business Development Manager will interact with a broad cross-section of Amazon Web Services spanning a wide range of technologies to meet specific customer requirements. This requires a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, strong technical understanding to provide confidence to customers and answer their questions, the ability to help customers crystallize business benefits of their migrations, a solid understanding of cloud solutions, and a passion for helping customers transform using cloud technologies.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
