Job summary

Buncombe County Schools is seeking a Migrant Outreach Specialist/Programming in Asheville, North Carolina. This part-time role supports the Title I program with a 4-hour daily schedule and 12 months of employment, expanding to up to 28 hours per week before August 29, 2026.

Pay Range: [$21.45 - $27.14] Salary range is based on state service and includes the 10.77 percent local supplement
Minimum Degree Level:High school diploma or GED, with minimum of three years experience in education or social services
Additional Position Comments: Bilingual spoken & written Spanish and English preferred, but not required

This position is up to 28 hours per week until August 29, 2026 when it will revert to 20 hours per week.
