Job summary

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of MIG welding experience in heavy equipment or structural steel fabrication.
- Demonstrated experience welding abrasion-resistant (AR) materials.
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
- Experience using measuring devices (tape, calipers, squares).
- Knowledge of welding procedures for thick-gauge steel.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on dump body assemblies and components.
- Weld AR materials and structural steel used in dump body construction.
- Read blueprints and welding symbols; follow work instructions.
- Fit, align, tack, and weld structural components.
- Operate welding equipment and fabrication tools.
- Inspect welds for quality and adherence to specs.
- Follow safety and 6S standards.
- Assist with fabrication and installation of components.
- Maintain clean work area and remove debris.
