Job summary

Mesa Manufacturing Solutions in Houston, TX is seeking a reliable MIG Welder/Fitter to join our shop floor. You will weld and fit mild and stainless components according to drawings, set up equipment, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Candidates typically have 1–2 years of MIG welding experience, read blueprints and weld symbols, and are able to measure and fit parts accurately. We offer a hands-on environment with teamwork and potential for growth.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of MIG welding or metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and measure accurately.
• Proficient with flux core, shielded wire, and spray transfer methods.
• Knowledge of torch cutting, arc gouging, and basic fitting.
• Familiarity with AWS charts, steel tables, and welding symbols.
• Ability to use standard tools (clamps, gauges, tape measure, etc.).
• Basic math skills, including decimal-to-fraction conversion.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Adherence to all safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities
