WEBCO MFG is seeking a Senior MIG Welder/Fabricator to join the Weld Team in a customer-focused environment. The role emphasizes efficiency and precision to meet customer specifications with high-quality welds.

Qualifications

• 3+ years MIG welding/fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Experience welding mild, stainless, and galvannealed steel.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality welds efficiently.
• Determine welding method to meet blueprint specifications and customer requirements.
• Perform first piece checks and submit to QA for inspection.
• Maintain production records to ensure correct part counts.
• Organize workflow to optimize complexity, method and completion times.
• Carry out other duties as required.

Job duties:

• Produce high quality welds efficiently.
• Ensure materials meet customer specifications by determining the welding method to be used if it is not stated on the blueprint.
• Ensure parts are welded correctly by performing the first piece check and submitting it to quality assurance for inspection prior to completing the entire job.
• Ensure production of the correct number of parts by maintaining records on production
• Ensure efficient and timely processing of various job orders by organizing work to be performed according to complexity, method used, anticipated completion time, etc.
• Other responsibilities as required.

Skills/Requirements:

• 3+ YEARS MIG Welding/Fabricator experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Comfortable with flat, horizontal, and vertical uphill welds
• Can weld mild, stainless, and galvannealed steel
• Strong attention to detail and efficiency
