Job summary

Landscape Structures Inc. in Delano, MN is seeking a Welder who reads diagrams, sketches and blueprints to produce metal components for playground structures. The role involves MIG welding, setting up stations, and adhering to LSI procedures.

Hours are 5:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. Monday through Friday. The position offers profit sharing, a monthly bonus, and a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, plus 401(k) and ESOP.

Qualifications

• Proficient MIG welding; able to pass welding tests.
• Able to read diagrams, sketches and basic blueprints.
• Strong safety awareness and PPE discipline.
• Attention to detail; follow standardized work instructions.
• Capable of working independently and with a production team.

Responsibilities

• Follows LSI QMS and standardized work procedures.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and customer requirements.
• Adheres to safety procedures and reports incidents.
• Reads diagrams to weld playground components to specification.
• Performs standard MIG welds and operates welding equipment.
• Sets up welding stations and verifies machine settings.
• Conducts visual and dimensional weld inspections.
• Identifies weld defects or equipment issues and reports them.
• Interprets Concept Designer ideas and translates to scale.
