Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment, an Aebi Schmidt brand in Monroe, WI, is seeking a Welder to join our fabrication team. You will read blueprints, lay out parts, and weld using GMAW/MIG to produce reliable components for our vehicle equipment line.

Your responsibilities include setting up equipment, fitting assemblies, and fabricating non-engineered parts, with emphasis on safety and quality. First shift, competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• One year certificate in welding/fabrication or relevant experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied positions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and instructions precisely.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements for layouts.

Responsibilities

• Reads and comprehends blueprints.
• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding from blueprints.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts, GMAW MIG.
• Fabricate and design non-engineered parts.
