Job summary

Aebi Schmidt North America is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Lindenwood, IL. The role involves welding metal parts, prep work, operating welding equipment, and interpreting blueprints to produce high-quality welds.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, operating welding machines, welding in multiple positions, and ensuring safety and quality standards. PPE is provided, and the position offers benefits and opportunities within the Aebi Schmidt group.

Qualifications

• Prior MIG welding experience required; pulse MIG welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various body positions.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and basic math.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Read and build from blueprints to perform quality welds.
• Operate welding machines (manual wire feed, automatic) and adjust welding parameters as needed.
• Weld in multiple positions and perform inspections as required.
• Safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools.
• Utilize cranes and hoists for various tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
