Job summary

Opti Staffing is hiring a Welder & Assembly Technician for an in-person role in Auburn, WA. Join a production team to weld, assemble, and inspect road maintenance equipment, using drawings and schematics to guide assembly.

You will read technical drawings, perform MIG welding, cutting, and fabrication, and collaborate with coworkers to deliver high-quality products while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of MIG welding experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Experience welding, cutting, and full machine assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience performing quality inspections and working in a team environment.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Fabrication experience.
• Must love dogs!.

Responsibilities

• Assemble high-quality products using technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Perform full machine assembly.
• Complete MIG welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely and accurately.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and work collaboratively with the production team.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
