Forest River Bus, LLC is seeking a MIG welder for Collins Bus operations in South Hutchinson, Kansas. The role requires proven MIG welding skills and the ability to read blueprints, with the physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include setting up welding equipment, welding aluminum and galvanized metal in various positions, inspecting weld quality, and maintaining tools and TPM-based maintenance practices onsite.

Formación

• Experience in GMAW (MIG) welding machines.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to work overtime as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform all welding procedures including machine settings, bottles, and necessary fittings.
• Set up and maintain welding machine (tip, liner, changes, etc.).
• Welding aluminum and galvanized metal and welding vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
• Inspect welds for cracks, burn through and weld spatter.
• Grind and clean areas where required.
• Stay current in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment as needed.
• Follow hazardous waste disposal program and fire prevention procedures.
