Job summary

Ohio Laser, Inc. is seeking a skilled MIG welder to join our Plain City, OH manufacturing team. You will weld parts to blueprints, adjust processes, load materials, inspect, deburr, and prepare items for shipping.

Requirements include 2 years MIG welding experience, blueprint reading, and adherence to quality programs. Multiple shifts available with pay $22.00–$30.00 per hour and benefits including 401(k) and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass the Ohio Laser welding procedure.
• Blueprint and weld symbol reading required.
• Weld distortion control – advanced.
• Follow work order instructions to complete part processing operations.
• Maintain lift truck operator license and routine machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Weld parts to blueprints and specifications using MIG welding.
• Alter setup, load material, weld first item, inspect and document.
• Deburr, skid or box, and deliver to shipping.
• Close work orders and document material usage and time.
• Follow quality program and continuous process improvement.
