Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of MIG welding experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or production welding environment.
• Experience reading blueprints, weld symbols, shop drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience welding carbon steel components and structural weldments to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, adjust, and regulate welding machines to produce high-quality weldments and blades.
• Perform MIG welding and fabricate steel components to required specifications.
• Participate in production welding processes for truck-mounted equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
• Read and interpret prints or documentation to perform accurate tack and bead welds.
• Operate hand and power tools for grinding, beveling, and fitting metals for proper assembly.
• Select appropriate holders and regulate welding time and technique to achieve consistent results.
