Job summary

Tru-Stop, Inc in Tempe, AZ is seeking experienced welders to support diverse manufacturing needs across multiple segments. The role requires proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, reading blueprints, and ensuring welds meet ASME standards.

A valid AWS or equivalent certification and a welding apprenticeship are preferred. Candidates must be fluent in English, able to pass a welding test, and operate related prep equipment and forklifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of MIG & TIG welding experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel to ASME code.
• Pass a welding certification test to verify techniques.
• Fluent in English reading instructions and safety memos.

Responsibilities

• Read job travelers and drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Weld products to meet blueprint specifications.
• Inspect welds and ensure quality and safety.
• Prepare parts using grinders and clamp components.
• Operate forklifts as needed.
