Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team in Ponca City. The ideal candidate will weld using MIG and TIG on steel, stainless, and aluminum, read blueprints, and maintain quality and safety standards.

This position requires attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the stamina to work on a Monday–Friday shift from 6am to 3pm. Pay is based on experience and the role emphasizes reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).
• Proven experience with MIG and TIG welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and measurements accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals and components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Set up welding equipment and select proper materials and techniques
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Operate grinders and other tools to clean and prepare surfaces
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment
