The faculty member will be an active participant in the clinical, research, and academic service in the Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The physician will treat a wide range of complex gynecologic diseases utilizing office‑based and surgical treatment modalities, with a focus on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. The role includes involvement in a multi‑disciplinary pelvic pain clinic, development and maintenance of a program for office‑based procedures, assistance and teaching in the operating room during advanced benign gynecologic surgeries, and full participation in call for the benign gynecology service.
The incumbent will participate in and oversee surgical training programs for medical students, residents, and fellows, provide advanced surgical training opportunities for faculty, and contribute to simulation lab activities, developing advanced skills and metrics for residents.
The successful candidate will initiate and participate in clinical and/or educational research, contribute to quality and outcome programs, teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and engage in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly mission of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. Collegial collaboration with other faculty members is essential.
