Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Midwife to relocate to Australia, delivering high‑quality antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care for mothers and newborns.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with obstetricians and nurses, and uphold excellent clinical standards in a supportive maternity unit.

Qualifications

• Must have AHPRA registration.
• Recent maternity unit experience including birth suite and acute care hospital settings.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care to expectant mothers, new mothers and newborns.
• Support and mentor junior colleagues, student midwives and AINs.
• Maintain high standards of maternal and neonatal care.
• Work collaboratively with obstetricians, nurses and allied health professionals.
• Deliver antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
• Offer education and emotional support to mothers and families.

Your Role as a Midwife

• Provide exceptional care to expectant mothers, new mothers, and newborns
• Support and mentor junior colleagues, student midwives, and Assistants in Nursing (AINs)
• Maintain the highest standards of maternal and neonatal care

What You’ll Need
